Barkers Hill Footbridge to Undergo Repairs
The Barkers Hill Footbridge will be closed to the public as of tomorrow [May 9], with reopening expected on Monday [May 11].
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works advises that the Barkers Hill Footbridge, located adjacent to the Ocean View Golf Course, will be closed to the public as of Saturday, 9 May 2020.
“The closure will allow for the replacement of timber planking and, weather permitting, should be reopened by Monday, 11 May 2020.
“The Ministry apologises for any inconvenience and urges the public’s cooperation as we make the necessary repairs.”
