BFRS: ‘Submit All Information Via Email’
The Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service [BFRS] is requesting that businesses submit all information regarding occupancy levels via email to fireprotection@gov.bm.
A BFRS spokesperson said, “In anticipation of moving to Phase II of Government’s reopening [certain retail establishments], it is our intent to serve our community as efficiently and as promptly as possible.
“However, due to the high demand of occupancy related request [regarding 20% occupancy numbers for your establishment], we are requesting all information be submitted via email to fireprotection@gov.bm.
“Therefore, in an effort to turnaround your request as quickly as possible, we will not be fielding questions via landline or office visits.
“Please provide the following details in your submission: the building name, establishment name, address, floor level and square footage – i.e. Washington House, Gibbons Company, #16 Church Street, Hamilton, Ground Floor, 1,000 square feet.
“In addition, please indicate if your building/establishment has a valid Fire Certificate.”
