May 20, 2020

“The Transport Control Department [TCD] is advising the public of updated service procedures and instructions that go into effect today, Wednesday, 20 May.

A Government spokesperson said, “Whereas previously, licence certificates could be collected from the National Stadium Pavilion, customers will now collect all Licence certificates exclusively from the TCD North Street facility. Furthermore, motorists with a temporary three-month vehicle licence can now schedule to have their vehicles examined and licensed for the remaining licensing period.

“Customers are also advised that the call-in service is now only available between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm Monday to Friday and reserved for customers who are unable to relicense their vehicles online using the eTCD system. To access the service, please call one of the following three numbers, 298-2363, 298-2367, or 298-2368.

“As a reminder, customers must adhere to physical distancing guidelines which include always wearing a face mask and having their temperatures taken before being allowed inside the building.

“Customers who do not have a face mask, are unwell, displaying cold or flu-like symptoms; fever, sneezing, or coughing may be denied entry.

“TCD will be open on Saturday, 23, and 30 May.

“The Transport Control Department apologise for any inconvenience and thank the public for their patience, cooperation.”
