Butterfield Bank Extends Banking Centre Hours

The Bank of Butterfield will be extending its operating hours at all Banking Centre locations in Bermuda starting Thursday [June 11].

A spokesperson said, “The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited [Butterfield] announced it will be extending its operating hours at all Banking Centre locations in Bermuda effective Thursday, 11 June, corresponding to the start of Phase 3 of the Government of Bermuda’s reopening plan.

“Banking Centre hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at all locations. The temporary Banking Centre at Rosebank Centre will provide services exclusively to seniors and clients with disabilities between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. each weekday.

“Saturday banking services remain suspended until further notice.

“Clients will be required to wear masks and will be subject to a contactless temperature check before being allowed to enter Butterfield Banking Centres.

“The Bank encourages clients to make use of electronic banking services wherever possible: ATMs; Butterfield Online; and the Butterfield mobile banking app. Relationship Managers and credit personnel are also able to conduct meetings virtually with clients.

“Butterfield will be closed on Monday, 15 June for the National Heroes’ Day public holiday.”
