52-Year-Old Man Killed, 26-Year-Old Arrested
A “domestic incident” at a Warwick residence resulted in the death of a 52-year-old man, and a 26-year-old man has been taken into custody, the police have confirmed.
A police spokesperson said, “At around 12:05 a.m. on Wednesday 8th July, police received a report of a domestic incident at a residence on St. Mary’s Road in Warwick.
“A second caller reported one of the individuals believed to be involved, was carrying a knife and that another person may have been injured.
“As police headed to the scene they observed a male lying bleeding, in the roadway on St. Mary’s Road and requested an ambulance.
“The 52-year-old male was transported via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
“A 26-year-old male was taken into custody in connection with this incident.”
