29-Year-Old Man Injured In Shooting In Pembroke

A 29-year-old man was injured in a shooting in the Fort Hamilton/Happy Valley Road area last night [July 7], the police have confirmed.

A police spokesperson said, “Shortly before 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday 7th July, police received reports gunshots heard in the Happy Valley Road area Pembroke.

“Not long after they received a call that a 29-year-old male had been shot in a parking lot just east of Fort Hamilton.

“The victim was transported via private vehicle to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where at last check, he was undergoing surgery for his injuries which were not believed to be life threatening.”
