Keep Bermuda Beautiful Logo Design Contest
Keep Bermuda Beautiful [KBB] will be hosting a Logo Design Competition for the relaunch of their Adopt-a-Spot programme, with the winner receiving a ‘Staycation” package from a local hotel.
The organization invites designers to create a unique new logo to be used for all Adopt-a-Spot branding, and the competition will be open to both professional and amateur local graphic designers.
Anne Hyde, Executive Director of KBB, explains, “Our Adopt-a-Spot Programme is designed to encourage members of the community to “adopt” a location and make a commitment to do periodic cleanups to help keep our island litter free. Chosen locations can be anywhere across the island such as a park, public beach, part of the Railway Trail or a neighborhood street.
“KBB will keep its main logo of the green ‘tidy man’, but we want to brand our Adopt-a-Spot with a new look. We would like to invite local graphic designers to help us breathe new life into the programme by designing a new logo specific for this programme which truly captures and represents Bermuda’s unique beauty.”
Designers are encouraged to include their take on “Bermuda colours” and entries which aim to capture similarities to the main KBB logo may be given special consideration.
Complete details of the competition, entry requirements and logo criteria can be found on the KBB website: www.kbb.bm. Please send all submissions to office@kbb.bm in JPEG or PDF format by Midnight on Friday, August 14, 2020. Five designs will be shortlisted for a public vote, and the winner who receives the most votes will be announced on Friday, August 21, 2020.
