Spirit Of Bermuda Charity Rally To Be Held

The Bermuda Sloop Foundation is inviting the public to attend the Spirit of Bermuda Charity Rally, with a series of event to be held on Friday, July 10th, Saturday, July 11th, and Sunday, July 12th in St. George’s.

The event poster says, “Please come out to these great events in St. George’s. Support our community, and our Spirit of Bermuda.

Friday, July 10

• “6pm – 10pm – Welcoming Party for 22 visiting Ocean Racing crew, East End Mini Yacht Club [EEMYC], Convict Bay.

Saturday, July 11 – 52nd Anniversary of the Founding of EEMYC

• “Bermuda Triangle Offshore Race including Spiring of Bermuda, Rising Son Catamaran, and approximately 10 BOCA yachts. Race starts 10:30 AM and finishes +/-3PM in St. George’s Harbour.

• “2pm – 5pm – Optimist and Endeavour Sailing.

• “6pm – 10pm – food and beverages will be available at EEMYC.

Sunday, July 12 – Festival of Sail

• “10am – 11am – Pilot Gig racing with viewing from Ordnance Island, and finishes off EEMYC.

• “11:30am – 3pm – Comet and Bermuda Fitted Dingy racing in St. George’s Harbour.

• “5pm – 10pm, EEMYC – prizegiving, awards and thanks, food and beverages will be available.
