Temporary Bus Service Interruption On Aug 12

There will be an interruption in bus service tomorrow [Aug 12] from 10am until 1:30pm to facilitate a meeting for all bus operators.

A Government spokesperson said, “The Department of Public Transportation [DPT] is advising of an upcoming interruption in bus service on Wednesday, 12th August 2020, from 10am until 1:30pm.

“The temporary service interruption will facilitate a meeting for all bus operators regarding the transportation of students, under Ministry of Health COVID-19 guidelines, as schools are currently scheduled to re-open in September.

“The DPT thanks the public for their continuing support.”

    Why can’t they do two meetings? Why do they have to shut down every time they need something explained.

    Hope they have a permit for the meeting.

    They don’t want to take more than 17 people on their bus but they’ll happily go to a meeting with 150 other bus drivers in the BIU hall.
