Two Vehicles Destroyed By Fire In Pembroke
Two vehicles were destroyed by a fire in Pembroke early this morning [Aug 7] with the cause of the fires “being considered suspicious at this time,” the police have confirmed.
A spokesperson said, “Shortly after 3:30 this morning Friday, 7th August, Police and Bermuda Fire and Rescue were alerted to two vehicles on fire in close proximity to each other in Pembroke Parish.
“One, a light truck, parked along Palmetto Road, the other, a motorcar parked at a residence near the junction of Bishop Spencer and Palmetto Roads. Both vehicles were destroyed.
“Officers from Police Forensics Unit along with a Fire Investigator visited the scene. The cause of the fires is being considered suspicious at this time.
“Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call 211, o the main police number 295-0011.”
