Temporary Bank Centre At Rosebank To Cease

September 28, 2020

The Bank of Butterfield announced that its “temporary Banking Centre at Rosebank will cease operations at close of busines”s on Friday [Oct 2].

A spokesperson said, “Commencing on Monday, 5 October, a dedicated teller will be established in the Bank’s Reid Street Banking Centre to assist senior clients and those with disabilities. Clients are asked to inform the Customer Service Associate of their needs on arrival at the Banking Centre, and they will be directed accordingly.

“Butterfield opened the Rosebank Banking Centre temporarily to provide services for seniors as part of Bermuda’s Phase 1 reopening period, helping to reduce the number of people in each Banking Centre location and enhancing protective social distancing measures during the COVID-19 period.

“Strict social distancing measures will continue to be enforced at all Butterfield locations, as will the need for all customers entering Banking Centres to wear masks.

“Customers are encouraged to continue to use online channels—Butterfield Online, the Butterfield mobile banking app, or ATMs—to conduct banking transactions wherever possible.”
