Covid-19 Health Worker Profile: Erinn Smith
The Bermuda Government is spotlighting some of the health professionals who have helped during the pandemic, with the latest profile highlighting Health Visitor Erinn Smith.
Ms. Smith’s Covid-19 Health Profile says, “When Covid-19 first arrived on the island, Bermudian Erinn Smith was one of the many healthcare workers who restructured their established careers in response to community needs during the pandemic.
“Prior to Covid-19, she was a Health Visitor for the Department of Health — a role she had been in since May 2018. Her days would usually be spent visiting homes, monitoring nurseries and preschools, conducting developmental assessments, and supervising school nurses and leading clinics, in an effort to provide children, four years old and younger, with the best chance at a healthy lifestyle. This role followed four and a half years as a Community Health Nurse in the school setting.”
