Government House posted the photos online below and said, “The Governor today visited Warwick Camp and various sites across the island to meet those members of the Royal Bermuda Regiment who were embodied during Hurricane Paulette.
The Governor said, “The men and women of the Royal Bermuda Regiment are well trained in disaster relief and have within the last 24 hours quickly cleared areas affected by debris. Working together with their fellow Emergency Services, BELCO and Government Departments, their hard work has allowed the island to start to get back to normal.
“I am grateful to these soldiers who have given their time to help the island as well as to their families who have had to do without them during a challenging 48 hours. Both on land and on sea the members of the Royal Bermuda Regiment are an asset of which Bermuda can be proud.”
