Ocean Prosperity Programme Webinar Tomorrow
The Bermuda Ocean Prosperity Programme [BOPP] is getting set to host a virtual webinar tomorrow [Sept 17] at 2.30pm.
The event’s Facebook page says, “We believe the ocean is an important component in Bermuda’s recovery from the global pandemic and offers an abundance of opportunities to grow a healthy economy that benefits all.
“The Bermuda Ocean Prosperity Programme is working to create a comprehensive plan to sustainably use, manage, and protect that ocean, a plan which will help the economy and ensure healthy fisheries and marine ecosystems for future generations. But we can’t do it without your help.
“This webinar, with an introduction by the Honourable Walter H. Roban, Minister of Home Affairs, will share Programme updates and how BOPP will work with Bermudian communities to create a plan for our marine space to support a vibrant Blue Economy.
“Guest speakers will share their personal experiences with stakeholder consultations, the importance of working across sectors, and how everyone in Bermuda can get involved.
