Work is underway on the demolition of the Clayhouse Inn building on North Shore, with many noting that is reflects the end of an era for the building, which is well known in Bermuda, and once hosted numerous entertainment events.

The building has not been used for some time, and demolition has been scheduled for years, with a 2009 Bermuda Sun story noting that the legendary Clayhouse Inn – an icon of Bermuda’s entertainment heyday – is to be demolished.”
