Ta’i Williams Scores In Deeping Rangers Win
T’ai Williams suited up for Deeping Rangers in the FA Vase taking on Lutterworth Athletics Football Club.
Lee Clarke put Deeping Rangers ahead 1 – 0 in the 32nd minute. A ball from Matt Carter found Williams down the line, Williams pulled the ball back from the bye line for Clarke to slot home.
Williams then made it 2 – 0 in the 38th minute with a far-post header from a Ben Cowles cross.
Deeping Rangers took a 3 – 0 lead in the 64th minute as David Burton-Jones rose at the back post to head home a Cowles free-kick.
In the end, a relatively comfortable win for Deeping Rangers sees them safely through to the First Round proper of the Build Base UK FA Vase.
