Fundraising Event – Bermuda Transport Museum
Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Bermuda Charge Fundraiser Ride and Show is an event justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 4 [1] and [2] of the Public Health [COVID-19 Emergency Powers] Regulations 2020 on groups of more than seventy-five persons assembling;
Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4 [4] of those Regulations to Bermuda Charge [David Cahill] permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble on Sunday November 15, 2020 at the Bermuda Vintage Transport Museum, Dockyard, Sandys Parish between 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm with the following conditions:
Conditions:
All persons attending the event must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.
Maximum number of attendees – 200 [135 participants plus event support staff
Recording of names and contact information of persons attending the rugby matches for the purpose of contact tracing. Information to be retained for 28 days post-date of event.
Wearing of masks is required at all times save for the consumption of food and drink.
Adherence to all applicable COVID 19 Health Guidelines as published by the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry of National Security reserves the right to withdraw the permission to have more than seventy-five persons assembled at the event without notice or cost to the Bermuda Government subject to the status of COVID 19 in the local community.
The Bermuda Police Service / Ministry of National Security Official have right to attend and observe compliance of the conditions as prescribed above.

Public Health [Covid-19 Emergency Powers] Regulations 2020 Large Group Exemption:
Bermuda National Athletics Association Cross Country Race Series
Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Bermuda National Athletics Association – Cross Country Race Series are events are justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 4 [1] and [2] of the Public Health [COVID-19 Emergency Powers] Regulations 2020 on groups of more than seventy-five persons assembling;
Now, therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4 [4] of those Regulations to Bermuda National Athletics Association permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble on the dates below with the following conditions:
Conditions:
- All persons attending the event must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.
- Maximum number of runners – 150 on the below race days and venues:
- October 24, 2020 – Hog Bay Park, Sandy’s Parish
- November 7, 2020 – Botanical Gardens, Paget Parish
- November 21, 2020 – Astwood Park, Warwick Parish
- December 5, 2020 – Botanical Gardens, Paget Parish
- Times: 7:30 am to 12:00 pm each race day.
- Recording of names and contact information of persons attending the rugby matches for the purpose of contact tracing. Information to be retained for 28 days post-date of each race day.
- Wearing of masks is required at all times save for the consumption of food and drink.
- Runners to wear masks and remain at physical distance until start of race.
- Adherence to all applicable COVID 19 Health Guidelines as published by the Ministry of Health.
- The Ministry of National Security reserves the right to withdraw the permission to have more than seventy-five persons assembled at the event without notice or cost to the Bermuda Government subject to the status of COVID 19 in the local community.

Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Funeral Repast for the late Daymon Simmons is an event are justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 4 [1] and [2] of the Public Health [COVID-19 Emergency Powers] Regulations 2020 on groups of more than seventy-five persons assembling;
Now, therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4 [4] of those Regulations to Claire Minors permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble on Tuesday October 20, 2020 between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm at Somerset Cricket Club, 6 Cricket Lane, Sandys Parish with the following conditions:
Conditions:
- All persons attending the event must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.
- Maximum number of persons permitted to attend funeral repast: 130
- Names and contact information of persons attending the repast for the purpose of contact tracing to be recorded. Information to be retained for 28 days post-date of event.
- Wearing of masks is required at all times save for the consumption of food and drink.
- Adherence to all applicable COVID 19 Health Guidelines as published by the Ministry of Health.
- The Ministry of National Security reserves the right to withdraw the permission to have more than seventy-five persons assembled at the event without notice or cost to the Bermuda Government subject to the status of COVID 19 in the local community.
