Golf: Palanyandi & Rabain Win Foursomes Title

The 2020 Bermuda Mixed Foursomes Championship concluded at Turtle Hill Golf Course today [Oct 25] and the defending champions Damian Palanyandi and Katyna Rabain were once again victorious in claiming the 2020 title.

The 36-hole tournament involved a partner best ball 1st Round on Saturday, followed by modified Pinehurst (alternating shot) 2nd round on Sunday. Palanyandi and Rabain had a total score of 102 to win over their challengers, Richard Marriott and Tracy Burgess, who had to settle for second place with a total score of 104.

After a disappointing 4-over par score in the 1st Round, the Net winners, Luis Gerardo and Gladys Chambaz propelled themselves back into contention with 5 back-to-back birdies and a 2-under par 2nd round total of 93 in the 2nd round to provide a comfortable lead over runners-up, John Park and Cindy Ratzlaff who finished with a net score of 96.
