Bermuda Ball Hockey: Frontier & Spirits Win

The Bermuda Ball Hockey League season resumed at the PCC Hockey Rink, with a double-header that produced 20 goals in total.

Positive Image Dental 4 – Frontier 7

Frontier defeated Positive Image Dental in the opener 7 – 4. Frontier took control of the match in the first period with goals from Sebastien Senechal and Christopher Merritt, while Jeremy Estey, Ian Beaudoin, and Jennifer Toope all scored a goal each for Frontier to give them a 5 – 0 lead at the end of the second period.

In the third period when Positive Image Dental got goals from Troy Dort, Chris Allington, Jeff Loper, and Adam Mattatall as they made it 5 – 4, but Estey would score two late goals for Frontier to give them the comfortable win.

Appleby 4 – BDA Spirits 5

In game two, Appleby went down 5 – 4 to BDA Spirits in a shootout.

Both teams scored a goal apiece in the first two periods of the game, they then scored two goals each in the third period to end the match at 4 – 4, and Joel Neal got the all-important Shootout Goal for the BDA Spirits.

The BDA Spirits got two goals off the sticks of Christopher Jackson and Jordan Gunter, while Appleby got two goals from Jeff Morash and Ross Rufiange.
