Harbour Road & Coney Island Bridge Closures
The Ministry of Public Works said that the embankment repair works on Harbour Road in the vicinity of Burnt House Hill and Tamarind Vale requires a temporary road closure and the Coney Island Bridge will be also closed for bridge replacement works.
A spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works is informing the public that the current ongoing embankment repair works on Harbour Road in the vicinity of Burnt House Hill and Tamarind Vale requires a full temporary road closure from Monday, November 30th through to Tuesday December1st from 9.00am to 3.00pm.
“This road closure is only temporary to allow for a larger excavating machine on site to carry out critical works which should only take up to two working days.
“The Ministry of Public Works is also informing the public that Coney Island Bridge will be closed for bridge replacement works from Tuesday, December 1st, through Tuesday December 15th from 7.30am to 6.00pm daily.
