MarketPlace Christmas Parade This Evening

The annual MarketPlace Christmas Parade is set to take place starting at 5.00pm this evening [Nov 29] — traveling from Shelly Bay, through Hamilton, then to Heron Bay — and everyone is urged to enjoy the parade while practicing social distancing.

The MarketPlace posted the graphic below online, which states: “We look forward to seeing you along the way! Please follow Covid-19 guidelines and wear a mask.

“Route starts at Shelly Bay MarketPlace, North Shore Rd, Middle Rd, Cavendish Rd, Reid St, left on Court St, right on Front St, right on Queen St, right on Church St, right on King St, go down Spurling Hill, onto East Broadway, Trimingham Hill, right on South Road onto Middle Rd, finishing at Heron Bay MarketPlace.”

The police previously said, “The Christmas Parade is to take place on Sunday, November 29th, 2020 from 5:00 pm until approximately 7:30 pm. It will consist of up to 20 vehicles that will travel as a procession under escort from the Bermuda Police Service. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid the Christmas Parade.”
