Nesbeth, Florida State Advance To Semi-Finals
Leilanni Nesbeth and her Florida State Women’s Soccer teammates began the ACC Tournament against eighth-seeded Notre Dame.
Nesbeth and her teammates entered the 2020 ACC Tournament as the No. 1 seed after finishing the regular season without a loss or a tie for the first time in program history.
Florida State earned their seventh shutout in nine games with a 2 – 0 win, and are heading to the ACC Semi-Finals.
Florida State scored with just under a minute left in the half, Jaelin Howell headed a Jenna Nighswonger corner kick to give them a 1-0 lead.
With just over 11 minutes to play the Florida State lead was doubled, when Clara Robbins’ blast from 20 yards out found the back of the net.
Nesbeth played a total of 41 minutes, taking one shot.
