Post Office: Expect Mail Delays To/From UK
Mail to and from the United Kingdom will be affected “due to the UK’s COVID-19 border closure,” the Bermuda Post Office has advised, with mail delays expected to “last until the beginning of December 2020 or until the UK borders reopen.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Post Office [BPO] is advising that mail to and from the United Kingdom will be affected due to the UK’s COVID-19 border closure.
“It is expected that the UK mail delays will last until the beginning of December 2020, or until the UK borders reopen.
“The BPO notes that if residents wish their letter and parcel mail to reach the UK in time for the Christmas holiday, they are strongly advised to have their mail dropped off to the General Post Office or the Devonshire Post Office by 12.00pm tomorrow [Nov 10]”
“This is to ensure that all UK bound mail is sent out on the British Airways flight departing tomorrow [Nov 10]. The BPO regrets the inconvenience caused to its customers.”

Typical of this Government. Why didn’t you inform us a few days earlier so that we could meet the deadline?
My package is still lost in the post since the end of July.
