Sherlock Continues Ghana PGA Tournament
Quinton Sherlock continued competing in the seventh edition of the Gold Fields Professional Golfers Association [PGA] tournament at the Damang Golf Club at Tarkwa.
Francis Torgah sits atop the leaderboard after carding a three-under-par 69 on the second day, the best round of the day was a 7-under 65 by Vincent Torgah, who moved from 14th to T3rd at 145.
Sherlock shot a five-stroke better Second Round 9-over par 81, which sees him remain T19th with David Doe, and Richard Amponsah.
Sherlock speaking after his round said, “This is my first 4-day pro tournament in over 10 years, and I am working my way back in.
“It’s a course where if you don’t have the experience certain shots you wouldn’t understand how to play. I only had one day to practice so still trying to get comfortable out there,” continued Sherlock.
Sherlock concluded, “The good news is that there are still 2 more days.”
