Tobacco Bay Continues To Remain Open
With Tobacco Bay remaining as one of the only full service public beach facilities open daily on the island, they are encouraging the public to “enjoy their facilities as long as weather remains fair.”
A spokesperson said, “Tobacco Bay now remains one of the only full service public beach facilities open daily. They are encouraging people to enjoy their facilities as long as weather remains fair.
“With Clearwater and Horseshoe Bay restaurant and bar facilities closed and Elbow Beach under renovation, Dennie O’Connor would like to continue to encourage locals and cleared visitors to come enjoy the East End.”
Mr. O’Connor said, “St George’s has everything you need. We have a safe, full service beach that follows all COVID-19 protocols.
“We have parking, electric car charge ports, a bar, a restaurant, chair rentals, fresh water shower, music, and free WiFi.”
The spokesperson said, “While the temperature is dropping, attendance to Tobacco Bay is not.”
Manager Jennifer Turini Ysseldyke said, “People are still eager to get out there and reclaim this year, and end it on a positive note by enjoying Bermuda’s beauty.”
The spokesperson said, “She goes on to mention that while the popular Sunset Happy Hour’s are officially finished for this year, Tobacco Bay is still open daily with extended hours on the weekend, and they are available for private events.
“Their Sunset Happy Hour menu remains during the weekend, where you can try Chef Cella’s [Marcy Smith] wildly popular fried lobster tails with Dark n’ Stormy aioli, or a Bermuda fish sandwich on raisin bread, and much more.
“Entertainment continues this Saturday with DJ Fury playing the best of 90s to 2020s from 2.00pm to 8.00pm. Also, if you enjoy a bit of Latin flare, this Sunday we will be hosting a Latin DJ sure to spice things up from 3.00pm to 7.00pm.
“Mr. O’Connor and Ms. Turini-Ysseldyke continue to thank the public for their constant support and they are looking forward to finishing the year off strong.”
