BNG Temporarily Closed, Exhibition Now Online
The Bermuda National Gallery will be temporarily closed until further notice, and a new exhibition, planned to open later this week, can now be visited online.
A spokesperson said, “As matter of care for the health and safety of our volunteers, visitors and staff amidst growing concerns around the spread of Covid-19, the Bermuda National Gallery will be temporarily closed until further notice.

“A new exhibition, planned to open later this week, can now be visited online. Curated by Alice Moniz as part of the Bermuda National Gallery Internship Programme, A Source of Inspiration: St George’s as Seen Through the Bermuda National Gallery Collection celebrates the old town’s unique place in Bermuda’s historic, contemporary and artistic landscape.
“The exhibition can be toured online here. This includes a video walk through, a focus on the individual artworks and a free to download children’s activity pack produced exclusively to accompany the exhibition.
“We are closely monitoring the evolving situation and will re-open when we feel that it is safe to do so. In the meantime, the public can sign up to the Bermuda National Gallery arts newsletter at www.bng.bm. The free newsletter, which goes out every fortnight, provides exclusive interviews with local artists and links to a wide range of resources.”
