Butterfield Moving To Work-From-Home Model
The Bank of Butterfield announced that “effective Monday, 14 December 2020, its corporate offices in Bermuda will operate under a work-from-home model.”
A spokesperson said, “All three Butterfield Banking Centres [Reid Street, St. George, and Somerset] will remain open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for in-person transactions.
“Clients are encouraged to complete banking transactions electronically wherever possible using Butterfield Online, the Butterfield mobile banking app, or the ATM network.
“For loan enquiries, clients should call [441] 298 4799. Corporate Banking clients and Private Banking clients should directly contact their Relationship Managers with service requests. For all other matters, clients are directed to contact the Call Centre on [4441] 295 1111.”
Can anyone tell me why you are not able to deposit cheques in any of the ATM machines anymore …. even in the main banking ATM’s ?
Am i supposed to wait in line at the bank possibly being exposed or infecting others ? In this current Covid status it does not make any sense !
