Update: The BWS also noted that, “The Bermuda Weather Service highlighted that a Gale Warning and a Thunderstorm Advisory are both in effect for tonight, into Tuesday morning. Intensifying winds, rapidly developing gusty gales, and wet weather begin this evening, persisting into Tuesday morning with the chance of early thunder.
“Sustained winds reaching 40 knots and gusts as high as 60 knots may affect Bermuda and the local Marine Area in the early hours of tomorrow morning, especially in and around heavy downpours. This is all as a result of a cold front moving across the area late tonight, in association with a deepening low pressure system passing well to the north.”
