Govt: Not Mandatory, But To Be Available For All
“We will not make Covid-19 vaccinations mandatory, but what we will do is have sufficient supply for everybody that wants it to have it,” Health Minister Kim Wilson said.
The Minister explained this during the recent press conference while responding to questions from the media, and she also added that she was recently on a conference call and “it seems that we will likely be receiving the Pfizer vaccines by the end of the first week in January.”
Speaking in Parliament last week, the Minister said, “The initial implementation of the vaccine in Bermuda will be linked to protecting our country’s most vulnerable citizens. It will also focus on giving immunizations to those persons who are caregivers and medical professionals in intimate contact with clients and patients on a daily basis in our healthcare institutions and care homes.
“It is envisioned that Bermuda’s Health Professionals will arise to be vaccinated in the first phase as an authentic signal of their professionalism and duty of care for the vulnerable persons in their charge,” she told Parliament.
The UK Government has previously stated that they “will supply the Territories with a proportionate share of the vaccines that the UK procure,” and Minister Wilson said that in addition to the vaccines set to be supplied by the UK, the Government is also making arrangements through the COVAX Facility to purchase vaccines.

The government may not be making the vaccines mandatory but what protection does the general public have, when it comes to their employers who says they have to be vaccinated in order to continue working for their establishments.

There are many things that come under policies and procedures, that are not necessarily strict law, and this is the old Bermuda way of taking a back door approach to getting what you want, without having to go through the strict latter of law, so the idiot would be those, who don’t do research, because there are many ways to get folk to take this, without having to make new laws.

And the “general public” does not all work for the same employer.

If people turn it down it will just mean I get to the front of the queue quicker.
Um u would be really silly to take it if it hasn’t been used for more than 18 months. They wouldnt distribute it until an EUA (Emergency Use Athorization) was signed by the FDA. The EUA prevents these pharma companies from being liable for any side effects or even death! Haven’t you listened to commercials on tv saying for certain FDA approved drugs one side effect can be death? Doesnt that make you wonder why the FDA would approve such drugs? Wise up stop being a sheep!
