Scott Barnes Competes In Daytona Kart Week
Scott Barnes recently began competing in the World Karting Association Daytona Kart Week.
Barnes started the Senior Class in 15th and finished tenth out of 33 drivers, with Barnes saying, “Not bad for the first time racing this track.”
Barnes then started the Masters Class in second, falling to third before retaking second position on the fifth lap. Barnes ran down the leader and finished in second place out of 25 drivers.
Barnes said, “For this, the first race day from Daytona, we had some fantastic racing across all of our classes on the sprint track. Congratulations to our podium finishers, and I am glad I will be bringing some hardware back home from day one.”
