Bowring Marsh Bermuda Appoint Deshay Caines
Bowring Marsh [Bermuda] Ltd announced that Deshay Caines has joined as a Vice President with responsibility for Diversity, Inclusion & Social Impact strategy.
A spokesperson said, “Bowring Marsh [Bermuda] Ltd, the international placement specialist of Marsh, announced today that Deshay Caines has joined as a Vice President with responsibility for Diversity, Inclusion & Social Impact strategy. She reports to Chris Reeves, President and CEO, Bowring Marsh [Bermuda].
“Ms. Caines is responsible for assisting with Marsh’s global diversity and inclusion [D&I] strategy, owning local communications, analyzing functional D&I impact for Bermuda, coordinating with external community partners aligned to our talent selection and development objectives, and keeping the business relevant and compliant.
“Additionally, she acts as the corporate social responsibility subject matter expert and internal and external ambassador to optimize and grow social impact efforts. This includes corporate citizenship, employee volunteerism, charitable giving, employee programs, and fundraising.
“Ms. Caines joins Bowring Marsh from the Pristine Group Limited, where she was the President and founder. Prior to that, she worked in business development for The Bermuda Business Development Agency and Digicel Bermuda.
“Ms. Caines has previously consulted on colleague and client engagement initiatives and has worked with various organizations that have invested in Bermuda’s communities. She brings a wealth of corporate and social knowledge, which will be invaluable to this new role at Bowring Marsh.”
Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Reeves said: “Deshay has a unique way of bringing out the best in the people she interacts with which will help us drive our local D&I initiatives forward and ensure Bowring Marsh remains an employer of choice.”
