Bermuda Fire, Rescue Service Extinguish Car Fire

The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service extinguished a vehicle fire in the Cobbs Hill area.

A BFRS spokesperson said, “A 1:59pm on February 22 2021, Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service Dispatch revived a report of a vehicle on fire at Cobbs Hill.

“BFRS responded with one appliance from the Hamilton Fire Station with a total of 5 firefighters.

“On arrival fire crews found a vehicle fully invoked in flames with thick black smoke bellowing out.

“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus quickly extinguished the flames. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is under investigation.”
