Lane Closure Extension Through March 21

The ongoing embankment repair works on Harbour Road in the vicinity of Burnt House Hill and Tamarind Vale will be extended until 21st March, 2021.

A Government spokesperson said, “The lane closure will be extended through to Sunday – 21st March, 2021. Working hours will continue from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm week days.

“Traffic controls will be under direction of the Ministry of Public Works representatives and will be managed through traffic control signals & signage.

“The public is advised to avoid Harbour Road between Burnt House Hill and Tamarind Vale and to use detour route via Middle Road.

“The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.

“Should there be any questions regarding this emergency lane closure, please direct queries to the attention of Tina Beer-Searle, Civil Engineer Highways for the Ministry of Public Works on 501-3044.”
