Ministry: 54 Bus Runs Cancelled On Friday
[Updated] The Ministry released the list of bus cancellations for this morning [February 5] with the list indicating that there are fourteen bus runs cancelled so far today.
Update 4.05pm: The Ministry has released the list of bus cancellations for this afternoon. There were 14 runs cancelled this morning, 40 cancelled this afternoon, for a total of 54 cancelled today.

With no tourists there is a significantly reduced demand and still, every day we have more than 50 bus runs cancelled.
At this point can we even say we have a bus service? Or is it more correct to say we just have random busses running occasionally?

What the drivers doing if theres no bus service?
My guess is that they all get paid as per usual seeing we’re not hearing a peep about under-time or ‘furlough days’ , something that nearly generated riots back when the OBA was in and all over a piddly one day per month.
And on a separate note , when we went back to once a week trash collection how much did that save ? I can’t recall hearing anything about a reduction in staff numbers or cutting the size of the fleet back .
It’s no wonder our debt keeps growing and the only people suffering are the private sector.
