Police: Two Men Arrested, Knives Seized

Police responded to a report of “two suspicious males seen on a white motorcycle with the license plate covered” in Hamilton parish, with both men arrested after “each was found to be in possession of a knife.”

A police spokesperson said, “At 8:10 p.m. on Friday 19th February, 2021, Police responded to a report of two suspicious males seen on a white motorcycle with the license plate covered, leaving Abbot’s Cliff in Hamilton Parish.

“Officers shortly after encountered the men and informed them of the report.

“The men were subsequently searched and each was found to be in possession of a knife.

“The officers seized the knives along with a scale which is suspected of being used in connection with drug activities.

“Both men were then arrested.

“All of these matters remain under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call 211 or the main police number, 295-0011.”

    So , a resident used his powers of observation and asked the suspicious individuals what they were doing in the area. Despite them having a covered license plate and then being apprehended with a bladed article I thought this is now not considered PC or acceptable behavior from the general public. Can’t question anyone anymore you know no matter what they’re up to.
    Is SJB going to protest this ?
