Golf: Sherlock Concludes Competing In Ghana
Quinton Sherlock concluded competing in the 2021 Goldfields PGA Golf Qualifiers event at the Achimota Golf Club in Ghana.
Sherlock started the day T33rd but after a third round 2-under par 69 he finished T26th.
The Bermudian golfer said, “We had some more showers day before yesterday. This made the course a bit softer and greens more receptive. I drove the ball well today and finally, my putter was working.”
“I knew that it was still early as we have another Qualifying Tournament coming in a few weeks, so with a solid finish I can position myself for the next Qualifying event.
Mr Sherlock concluded, “I am better positioned for a good showing next time to make the Finals/Championships in November.”
