“The two met through Coach Kim Swan two years ago when Oliver spent a month also training and playing on the STPGA Junior Tour.

“Over the last week, between playing 18 holes in the mornings and intense training in the afternoons, Ogrin has been working with Oliver on all aspects of his game, but mainly on swing dynamics, which due to his recent growth spurt has proven to be challenging.

“He has played in three tournaments:

  • March 7th, Fort Sam Loma, San Antonio, 6th place, shot 7 over par 79
  • March 10th, Quarry Golf Club, San Antonio 5th place 12 over par 83
  • March 11th Brackenridge Golf Park, San Antonio 3rd place 2 par over 74,

“It’s a great tour with lots of kids in all age groups and well organized. Oliver had a great result today, which is very encouraging as all the kids in his age group are from the area and are very familiar with the courses. Oliver will be in the San Antonio area until mid-April and is scheduled to play another four tournaments.”
