Tennis: Attride-Stirling Leads Adelphi To Victory
Luke Attride-Stirling and his Adelphi University Men’s Tennis teammates played to a 4 – 3 win over Bentley University in a Northeast-10 Conference in Waltham.
Adelphi has also won three of their last four matches, en route to improving to 3-2 in NE10 play.
The contest came down to the No. 4 singles match between Luke Attride-Stirling and Alexander Novins.
Stirling fell into an early one-set hole, but a second-set 7-6 [7-3] tiebreaker turned the tide in Stirling’s favor and ultimately led to a 10-1 performance in the third set that won it for Adelphi.
Stirling and Andrew Ray remained undefeated at the No. 3 Doubles spot, after prevailing over Sergio Blanco and Connor Aulson 7-5.
