Wallpaper Wednesday: Bermuda Sea Glass
In the seventh of a new weekly series, Bernews’ latest ‘Wallpaper Wednesday’ phone lock screen features a close up of sea glass on a Bermuda beach.
Sea glass is defined as “glass that has been discarded at sea or the seashore, broken into pieces, and smoothed by the erosive action of sand and water.” The naturally made glass is often used for making jewelry, and some Bermudians may recall the rather infamous time back in 2015 when a visitor loaded up 70lbs of sea glass into her suitcases, causing outrage amongst locals.
