Butterfield Finishes 5th In Challenge Cancun

Tyler Butterfield has finished fifth in the Challenge Cancun 113K Pro Elite Division.

Butterfield clocked an overall time of 3:57:21, finishing 10:45 behind the overall winner Javier Gomez, who clocked 3:46:36.

Ruedi Wild finished second with a time of 3:50:37, and Andy Potts – who won the 2007 Escape to Bermuda Triathlon – finished third with a time of 3:51:13.

Butterfield clocked a time of 27:32 on the 1.9km swim and 2:05:46 over the 90km bike course, before closing out with a time of 1:19:38 on the 21km run course.
