Justin Donawa Scores In Solihull Moors Victory
Bermuda’s Justin Donawa scored for Solihull Moors as they claimed a 4 – 1 victory over Wealdstone in England.
The club’s match report said, “Solihull Moors wrapped up a fifth victory on the spin with a 4-1 success away to Wealdstone on Saturday afternoon.
“Two goals either side of the break were enough to make it a comfortable afternoon for the visitors who conceded late on to a Jacob Mendy Mendy penalty.
“And it was Cameron who was heavily involved with Moors’ opener after 21 minutes. Jordan Cranston and Sbarra worked a short corner before the latter found Cameron at the back-post. The defender diverted the ball back across goal and there was Tyrone Williams to bundle home from close range, despite the best efforts of George Shelvey.
“Having opened the scoring, Williams took it upon himself to provide the assist for the second just after the half hour.
“The defender played an excellent ball over the top to find the run of Alex Addai in behind. The on-loan winger used his pace to beat Shelvey to the ball and lobbed it over the ‘keeper for number two – Addai’s first goal in yellow and blue.
“And Stuart Maynard’s side were made to pay shortly after as Moors notched a third – and what a goal it was.
“Ryan Boot bowled it out to Cranston who, in turn, found the run of Sbarra down the left channel. He then spotted the space Ball had in the centre, cut it back and Ball did the rest with a first-time finish into the bottom corner.
“A fourth of the afternoon arrived with 10 minutes to play and it was substitute Justin Donawa who found the back of the net shortly after entering the field of play.
“Again, it was a set-piece as Sbarra’s back-post corner was met by Cameron who headed back across goal and there was Donawa with a simple tap-in on the line.”
