Shiona Turini Working On New Amazon Series
Bermudian fashion expert and costume designer Shiona Turini is working on Solos, the newly released Amazon Original sci-fi series.
Season 1 of Solos is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video starring Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway, Helen Mirren, Uzo Aduba, Anthony Mackie, Constance Wu, Dan Stevens, and Nicole Beharie.
The video trailer’s description says, “Solos premieres May 21, 2021, in the US and select territories and June 25, 2021, worldwide on Prime Video. Created by David Weil. With Uzo Aduba, Nicole Beharie, Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway. Seven unique character-driven stories. In describing Helen Mirren’s attire for the series, Vogue noted, “Instead of heading to the stars in a standard-issue flight suit, costume designer Shiona Turini worked with the house of Dior to create a one-of-a-kind red leather look.”
