Eighteen Interns Take Part In BILTIR Programme

June 16, 2021

Eighteen young Bermudians have this week started learning about the long-term life and insurance sector in a two month internship programme organised by Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers [BILTIR].

As part of the paid internship programme, Scott Selkirk, chair of BILTIR’s Strategy Committee, presented an introductory session on the life insurance sector to the university students via Zoom due to Covid restrictions. The interns will also participate in networking and educational events, learn about life and annuity products, and explore career opportunities in the sector.
