Call For ‘Taste Of Bermuda’ Chefs & Vendors

June 3, 2021

The City of Hamilton is seeking vendors for this year’s Taste of Bermuda: Drive-in Experience, with the event to be held on September 24-26.

A spokesperson said, “Whether you fry it, bake it, or serve it up raw, come and show the island how you get taste buds talking!

“Taste of Bermuda: Drive-in Experience – Hamilton’s most delicious and fun food festival – is back by popular demand this year and the City of Hamilton is seeking local chefs and industry experts to be part of this exciting event.”

A look at last year’s event

“The City is looking for creative and dynamic food and beverage offerings to include in this year’s Taste line up,” said the City’s Director of Marketing and Communications Ms Jessica Astwood.

“Encouraged by the success of last year’s Taste of Bermuda: Drive-in Experience, which saw over $40,000 in receipts from City restaurants, we wanted to make this one even bigger with more food giveaways, live culinary stations and even more dynamic vendors.

“Each night will feature different culinary items found in Bermuda and up to 1,000 sample sizes of the various food & beverage items will be provided to event attendees each night.

“Want to give a live demo of your skills? Even better! You do it; we’ll showcase it: from ice carving, cake decorating, paella stations and beyond!”

“While alcoholic beverages will not be given as samples during the event, the City will consider applications from vendors to provide them as take home items.

“Taste of Bermuda Drive-in Experience will be held in Par-La-Ville Car Park September 24-26, 2021, subject to Government approval.

“In an effort to encourage economic activity in our food and beverage industry, we will require a receipt valued at $25 or more from any City eatery between August 26 and September 26 for entry.

“Applications are due by July 2, 2021. Email to request the official 2021 Taste of Bermuda vendor information.“
