Car Carrier Crew Member Medically Disembarked
On Friday [June 25] a crew member from the car carrier Liberty Peace was brought to the island for medical treatment.
A Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre spokesperson said, “Friday 25 June, 7:00 pm – Meyer Agencies contacted RCC Bermuda to report that a crew member needs to be medically disembarked from the U.S. flagged car carrier Liberty Peace.
“Arrangements were put in place for the pilot boat St George to rendezvous with Liberty Peace at the Deep Draft position, the crew member was transferred early on Saturday morning and taken to a waiting ambulance at Ordnance Island.”
