HSBC Bermuda Offers Financial Education Tools
HSBC Bermuda is offering free online resources on the Bank’s public website “designed to equip young people with the money management skills they will need to build their future financial confidence.”
A spokesperson said, “HSBC Bermuda is offering free online resources on the Bank’s public website to support families in teaching their children about financial literacy. These resources are designed to equip young people with the money management skills they will need to build their future financial confidence.
“Building on the recent launch of HSBC’s youth “My Savings” acount which rewards young savers, the Bank is introducing a Financial Education Hub to futher support children as they develop their financial literacy skills.
“The Financial Education Hub offers a series of educational videos, downloadable worksheets and other online resources aimed at young people up to age 16. These resources complement the wide range of helpful financial guidance and tools already on the Bank’s website, inclusive of investing calculators and articles on how to talk to kids about money.”
Tanya Bule Head of Wealth, Personal Banking and Marketing at HSBC Bermuda, shared: “Many parents have expressed a need for educational resources to help their children build financial capabilities in our changing world. On this basis we have made available a range of effective learning resources which are categorized by age groups and can be easily accessed anytime, to fit in with your day.
“Financial literacy is a critical life skill and our aim is to support families with fun, high-quality and easily digestible tools and resources.”

- “Helping independent young people take control of their money and manage their own finances.
