UK Cricket: Bermuda Players Team Results

Bermudian cricketers Kamau Leverock, Amari Ebbin, Chare Smith, Cameron Jeffers, Brianna Ray, and Logan Jones were in action for their respective teams in the UK.

Kamau Leverock

Kamau Leverock and his Caythorpe Cricket Club Notts 1st XI teammates went down by 61 runs against Papplewick and Linby Cricket Club.

Calthorpe won the toss and sent Papplewick and Linby to bat, they would score 210/9 in their 50 overs, Louis Bhabra was their top scorer with 54, while Abhishekh Chidambaran was the pick of the Caythorpe bowlers with figures of 10-1-24-2, and Leverock bowled 10-1-57-1.

In reply Caythorpe would only manage 149/8, Lyndon James was the top scorer with 31, Leverock managed 8. Jim Rhodes was the pick of the Papplewick and Linby bowlers with figures of 10-4-17-3.

Amari Ebbin & Chare Smith

Amari Ebbin and Chare Smith helped the Frenchay Cricket Club’s 1st XI to defeat the Coalpit Heath Cricket Club 1xt XI by 3 wickets.

Coalpit Heath won the toss and elected to bat, they would be restricted to 172/7 in 45 overs, Dafydd Nicholas was the top scorer with 75 not out, while Ben Helps was the pick of the Frenchay bowlers with figures of 9-3-26-3, Smith bowled 9-0-45-2.

In reply Frenchay Cricket Club would score 176/7 in 42 overs, Tom Bibby was the top scorer with 36, Ebbin added 11, Smith did not bat. Jack Williams was the pick of the Coalpit Heath bowlers with figures of 9-1-42-3.

Cameron Jeffers

Cameron Jeffers and his Cowbridge Cricket Club 1st XI teammates defeated Gorseinon Cricket Club 1st XI by 63 runs.

Cowbridge won the toss and elected to bat, they would score 259/6 in their 50 overs, opener Thomas Merilaht was the top scorer with 109 not out, Jeffers did not bat. Christopher Mee was the top bowler for Gorseinon Cricket Club with figures of 10-1-54-3.

In reply, Gorseinon Cricket Club could only manage 196 all out, Samihan Ghanekar was their top scorer with 32, while Aman Gandhi was the pick of the Cowbridge bowler’s with figures of 5-0-18-3, Jeffers bowled 10-1-2-2.

Brianna Ray & Logan Jones

Brianna Ray, Logan Jones, and their Sedbergh School 3rd XI teammates went down by 9 wickets against Windermere Cricket Club 1st XI.

Sedbergh won the toss and elected to bat, they were bowled out for 109, Benjamin Starling was the top scorer with 3, Ray was out for 4, while Jones scored 1, Dan Sykes was the pick of the Windermere bowler’s with figures of 9-0-31-4.

In reply Windermere scored 110/1, Sam Fletcher was the top scorer with 61, while Harriet Robson was the pick of the Sedbergh bowlers with figures of 2-0-10-1. Ray bowled 3-0-33-0.
