Frontline Foundation Gives To BPS & BFRS

July 21, 2021

The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] and Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service [BFRS] received gift cards from the Frontline Foundation yesterday [July 20] “as a thank you for their ongoing efforts.”

A spokesperson said, “This afternoon the Bermuda Police Service and Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service were humbled to receive gift cards from the Frontline Foundation – an organisation founded with a mission to support local businesses and give back to first responders and frontline workers in Bermuda, particularly during the current Covid-19 pandemic.

“The gift cards to local businesses will be distributed throughout the men and women of the BPS and BFRS as a thank you for their ongoing efforts.

“Founder Sean McNulty and his wife Jana made the presentation to Commissioner of Police Stephen Corbishley and Chief Fire Officer Lloyd Burchall, who were joined by Assistant Commissioner of Police Martin Weekes, Assistant Chief Fire Officer Dana Lovell and BFRS Lieutenant & Staff Officer Scott Quinn.

“Commissioner Corbishley acknowledged that first responders don’t do the work they do looking for thanks – but any show of appreciation is always gratefully received.

“There is also a connection between Sean McNulty and the BPS – his father, Peter, was a police officer in Bermuda during the 1970s.”
