Adam Hall & Aberdeen Defeat Greenville Drive
Adam Hall and his Aberdeen IronBirds teammates were back in action in Greenville, South Carolina.
Aberdeen led early and held on late, as they edged the Greenville Drive who are the High-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox 6 – 5.
Aberdeen scored in the top of the 2nd, but Greenville scored in the bottom of the 3rd to level the match at 1 – 1.
Greenville would take a 3 – 1 lead in the bottom of the 4th after scoring 2 runs, but Aberdeen scored 3 runs in the 5th, and then 2 more in the 6th to lead 6 – 3, but Greenville would make it close when they scored twice in the bottom of the 7t, neither team would score again.
Hall went 1 for 3 from the plate with a hit, and 2 walks, Hall would also steal his 22nd base of the year.
