Joao Soares Retires After 34 Years Of Service
Department of Parks employee Mr Joao Soares recently retired after over 34 years of public service.
A Government spokesperson said, “Department of Parks employee Mr Joao Soares retired on Friday, 16 July, after 34 years in the Public Service. Mr Soares is well known as the caretaker of the Cabinet Office and Sessions House grounds.
“He was celebrated by staff of the Cabinet Office, joined by Premier David Burt, Col. David Burch, Minister of Public Works, Head of the Public Service Dr Derrick Binns and Permanent Secretary Mr Randy Rochester.”
